Bryan Bangerter & The Whole Shebang is the first studio album from the American indie pop band set to release Summer 2010.
The album was recorded and engineered by Keith Milgaten (KMRC) at Studio Disguise Recording Laboratory and Milgaten's home studio in San Diego, California. The album was recorded from February 2010 through June 2010.
Bangerter wrote music for the album beginning in November 2009 and the band began arranging the songs in early 2010. The songwriting for the album "is more narrative based" than any of his previous works, says Bangerter. In between writing and recording the band's members continued to work on other projects.
The band incorporated a variety of instrumentation on the album using not only string arrangements and gang vocals but also melodica's, mallets, vibraphones, and pianos.
Meg & Bryan released music on itunes (click here) several weeks ago. The hard copy of the CD will be available Friday night at their CD release show at The Sanctuary (facebook event).
A limited time single release of the song "Annie Bristow" is available for purchase at M Theory Records and COW Records in San Diego. Look 'em up and go buy them.

On June 27th friends and family of the acoustic duo Meg & Bryan collaborated to film a music video for their first single "Oh Nothing" off their self titled EP. The video features a plethora of supersaturated food and costumes, adorable children, and ends in a violent food fight.

The concept was cooked up by Meg, Bryan, and their friends Blake Nelson and Andrew Gumm who helped direct and choreograph the shoot. Ashley Freese was in charge of food styling and set design.
Meg & Bryan's official album release show will be held at The Sanctuary on August 20th followed by a show at Java Jones on August 23rd. The album is currently available on Itunes.
