The Whole Shebang was formed in late 2009 to support songs that Bangerter had written specifically for a full ensemble. He called on long-time friends and collaborators to help bring the songs and sounds to fruition. The Whole Shebang's sound draws on many styles including rock, reggae, jazz, R&B, and folk.

The band's most recent recordings have incorporated child-like gang vocals, strings, horn sections, melodica, harpsichord, and more. The result: the songs from the new CD entitled Bryan Bangerter & The Whole Shebang which lyrically include stories of 17th century prostitutes, the unstoppable force of rebel brides on their wedding day, and the daily encounters of a working class.

The members of the group all currently reside in San Diego, California.

Meaghan Maples

Maples (born April 9, 1985) is a singer-songwriter based out of San Diego, California. Born in Oakland, she resided in the East Bay until a spurt of overseas altruism led her to live in Tanzania for a few long months in 2006. It was in the jungle that she polished up her piano skills on a battery operated keyboard between her Swahili lessons and rain forest hikes on Kilimanjaro.

Maples was raised singing music in church but never hit that ground-breaking note until she became the 2007 "Point Loma Idol" at Point Loma Nazarene University. Soon after she crossed paths with Bryan Bangerter (father of The Whole Shebang). They had many things in common, including a stint in the University's gospel choir and blood relatives on Hawaii. But music was the knot that tied the shoe that walks the road. She was enthusiastic about Bangerter's percussive, guitar-slapping technique and he appreciated her keen ear and in-song commentary. It was 'auto harmonics,' and the rest is history.

Today Meaghan lives in a gypsy commune where she is rapping up a quirky hip hop solo project with her younger brother/beat master Nick Maples. Other projects include re-learning Swahili, power yoga, and various compositions with her now-electrically powered keyboard.

She's the louder girl voice in Shebang and the chatty one in the self-titled acoustic duo "Meg and Bryan."

She is also a nanny, a barista, and loves to do arts and crafts with friends and fellow artisans. Find her on Twitter (twitter.com/meggmaples0 so you can always know what she's doing.

Maples currently resides in San Diego, California.
